This exhausted me just to read it. Living with brain injury, especially in a growing teen is a serious challenge. His brain is still developing. <br /><br />Write this out anytime. Maybe something may well occur to you that will help. I hate what they to us, but I think it somewhat true, that each case is individual, and only you know Sam and what he was like before the brain injury and the meds. It was 139. Drs say not to go by levels, but new neurologist was seeing danger signs in Bill. Too high can be truly dangerous. It can kill you. When we first lowered it by 1000 he did have one seizure, then added back 500 that same day. It is now 78 but it took awhile to regulate. His memory is better, he is feeling better and doing well. I was scared to death to let them cut it, but I was ordered to do it, basically. He is doing better. Sounds to me like Dr T. is the one I would trust. Or get another opinion if you need to. Bill goes to bed at 7:30 now. TBI is still there and the fatigue is high. I agree that you have to get back to Dr. T. We finished my last counseling session with this topic: CONFLICTING MEDICAL OPINIONS...WHO DO WE TRUST...WHAT DO WE DO. Frustration runs amok! How hard it is to just keep moving forward, isn&#39;t it. Schools can be so frustrating. I don&#39;t know how to reach these people. We have a person at the Brain Injury Association and the Epilepsy Foundation who works with the school staff to be an advocate and educate them. Do you have such a thing or person you can turn to? After you shred all of the work of the past three years, of course in madness. Glad you can write and get all of this out. Put some ice on that hit on your head, and hang in here, Mama. P.S.
